Frantic weather and Fifty-Fifty’s stunning record
Fifty-Fifty won hands down the 46. Blue Ribbon Audi Balaton Regatta by breaking his own record by more than three hours.
The two-day event offered a great number of interesting and spectacular programmes. 600 sailing boats competed with 1400-1700 crew members on board. The winner was Fifty-Fifty with a record of 7 hours 13 minutes and 57 seconds in stormy weather. The silver medal went to Naturaqua and Andreas Hagara from Austria, the third was the Team Black Jack and Attila Nagy R. from Hungary, with times less 24:08 and 51:44 respectedly. The title defender and multiple champion Evopro Katamadár and Farkas Litkey had to give up.
